Device & App Requirements
To use DozyBlue effectively, the following device and app requirements must be met so that sleep data can be accurately collected and analysed.
- DozyBlue requires iOS 15.1 or later on iPhone.
-
A compatible sleep tracking device must be worn
during sleep sessions (e.g. smartwatch, fitness tracker, or smart
ring).
- The device must connect to Apple Health on your iPhone.
- The device must be able to write sleep data into Apple Health so DozyBlue can read it.
- DozyBlue requires permission to access your health data — you’ll be prompted the first time you use the app. Without this, DozyBlue cannot retrieve your sleep information.
Optimising Your Results
The tips below will help you get the most accurate sleep data and media resume suggestions from DozyBlue. Following these guidelines ensures your sleep sessions are tracked reliably and that resume windows reflect where you most likely fell asleep.
- Use a trusted sleep tracking device that integrates with Apple Health on your iPhone.
- Check your device’s Bluetooth to ensure your sleep tracking device is properly connected to your phone.
- Check your Wi-Fi and make sure the connection is strong. Dropouts could impact resume suggestions if you are streaming your chosen media.
- Begin your sleep session in DozyBlue at the same moment you start your media content, so both track in sync.
- If you pause your DozyBlue sleep session, make sure you also pause your media at the same time, and resume both together. This keeps the session timeline aligned with your actual media progress. (see Active Sleep Session Pausing)
- Start your sleep session in DozyBlue at least 30 minutes before you plan to sleep (while watching or listening to your chosen media). This helps your device recognise that you are winding down and preparing for sleep.
- When watching media to fall asleep to, allow yourself to fall asleep naturally rather than trying to force sleep. Forcing sleep can lead to periods where your eyes are closed but you are not actually asleep — meaning you may miss parts of the media while your sleep device still believes you are awake. This can result in inaccurate resume suggestions.
- Fine-tune your resume accuracy using the Pre-Content Rewind (PCR) offset. Adjusting PCR allows you to shift your resume point slightly earlier than your detected sleep onset. Lower values work well if you fall asleep quickly or are listening to audio content, while higher values can help when watching visual media (see Pre-Content Rewind (PCR)).
- If you fall asleep during a DozyBlue sleep session and then wake up and continue watching or listening afterwards, DozyBlue will not use this second period of media progress when calculating your resume suggestions. Only your first valid sleeping stage is used, and any media progress made after you wake up is ignored.
- Do not start a new sleep session after waking up during the same night. Starting a new session will misalign DozyBlue’s session start time with the sleep data recorded by your device, making it impossible to accurately match media progress with sleep stages. This can result in incomplete or failed resume suggestions.
- Avoid giving your sleep device false signals — e.g. don’t stay completely still for long periods of time whilst you are awake. Move occasionally so the device doesn’t log premature sleep stages.
- Be aware of naps before bedtime. Some sleep tracking devices may merge a nap and your main sleep into a single sleep session. If this happens, DozyBlue may be unable to correctly match your sleep session with the recorded sleep data, which can result in inaccurate or unavailable resume suggestions.
- Always make sure your device has uploaded sleep data to your Apple Health before ending the sleep session in DozyBlue.
- Editing, deleting, or manually adding entries to your Apple Health sleep data may cause the resume suggestions in DozyBlue to become inaccurate.
Home
The Home screen is your central overview in DozyBlue. It gives you a quick summary of your recent activity, highlights patterns and trends for the current week, and provides fast access to creating or reviewing sleep sessions. Information shown here updates automatically as sleep sessions are created, edited, or removed.
Sleep Statistics
The Sleep Statistics section provides an at-a-glance view of your sleep activity for the current week (Mon-Sun). It presents a swipeable set of statistics that highlight patterns, consistency, and trends using two complementary views: your weekly streak and your weekly snapshot.
Your Streak
Your streak highlights the days in the current week where a sleep session has been recorded. The flame indicator represents your active streak, which increases as you continue to log sleep sessions across consecutive weeks.
A week contributes to your streak if it contains at least one completed sleep session. The current week is treated as live, meaning its contribution can change if sessions are added or removed. Once a week has passed, it is treated as historical progress. Deleting or expiring older sleep sessions does not remove weeks that have already counted towards your streak.
The View calendar link takes you directly to today’s date in the Reports screen, allowing you to review your sleep sessions in more detail.
Your Weekly Snapshot
Your weekly snapshot provides a number of key metrics:
- Sessions – the total number of sleep sessions recorded during the current week.
- Media Consumed – the total amount of media watched or listened to before falling asleep across all sessions that week.
- Avg. Time to Sleep – the average time it took you to fall asleep from the moment each sleep session started.
- Avg. Duration – the average total duration of your sleep sessions, calculated from sleep session start to sleep session end.
Beneath each metric, a comparison indicator shows how the current week compares to the previous week, helping you spot changes over time. If you create, delete, or edit a sleep session (including adjusting the fell asleep time – Update Fell Asleep) that falls within the current or previous week, the weekly snapshot values and comparison indicators will update automatically to reflect those changes. Please note, these changes may affect the weekly snapshot statistics shown for the current or previous week, but they do not remove historical streak progress once a previous week has already counted towards your streak.
Recent Sleep Sessions
Below the sleep statistics, the Recent Sleep Sessions section displays your seven most recent sleep sessions. Tapping any session in this list opens the Report Details screen, where you can view the full breakdown of sleep data, media information, and resume suggestions for that session.
Create a New Sleep Session
A sleep session represents a single period of time where you listen to or watch media whilst falling asleep. Creating a sleep session allows DozyBlue to track your media activity and sleep, then generate a report with calculated resume suggestions so you can continue from where you dozed off.
How to Create a New Session
- Tap Create in the bottom navigation, then select New Session.
- Choose the media you plan to watch or listen to from the dropdown list (e.g., Film, Series, Podcast, Audiobook, etc.).
- Complete the required fields to provide DozyBlue with the information it needs to generate your sleep report and media resume suggestions.
Things to know:
- When you open the Create Sleep Session screen, Continue Session (Continue a Recent Sleep Session) will be selected by default if you already have a logged session. You can still select New Session at any time to create a brand-new session.
Media Types
- Film – a media type for films. Search for a film title and select from the results, then enter all required fields.
- Series – a media type for series. Enter the name of the series, add the season and episode, then use the search icon to find and select the required series. Make sure to enter all required fields.
- Podcast – a media type for podcasts. First search and select the podcast name, then search and select the specific episode you plan to listen to, and enter all required fields.
- Audiobook – a media type for audiobooks. Manually upload an audiobook in the Audiobooks section of the Media Library (Bottom navigation → Library → Audiobooks). Once uploaded, you can search and select it — just make sure the chapter you plan to use (and a few extras) have been added before searching.
- YouTube – a media type for YouTube videos. First search and select a channel, then search and select the specific video, and enter all required fields.
- Audio – a media type for any audio. Manually enter the name, duration, and all other required fields.
- Video – a media type for any video. Manually enter the name, duration, and all other required fields.
Please note: if you can’t find the media you’re looking for under a specific media type (such as Film, Podcast, Series, etc.), you can use Audio or Video to create a manual session.
Searching and Selecting Media
- Most media types (excluding Audio and Video) require you to search for the media so that all necessary metadata can be extracted.
-
The database icon in the Media Information header
lets you switch between:
- External database: This uses online external services to look up films, series, podcasts, etc. External searches are subject to a daily limit per user.
-
DozyBlue database: This searches only media
already saved in the DozyBlue database (for example, films,
series, and podcasts previously used by other users). This avoids
external database calls and is usually faster for repeat content.
DozyBlue database searches have a much higher daily limit per
user.
- Please note: In some cases, the DozyBlue database search uses a “starts with” matching method. If you’re having trouble finding a title, try entering the first few words. For example, “The Great Gatsby” can be found by searching “The Great”, not “Great Gatsby”.
-
Some media types require additional saved data when using the DozyBlue
database. For example:
- Podcasts and Series require multiple consecutive episodes to be saved already. DozyBlue checks that the selected episode and the next few episodes are present. If not, the series or podcast will not appear in the internal results, and you may need to switch back to the external database search.
- After you perform a search or select a title, the database toggle may be temporarily disabled to prevent switching sources mid-selection.
- Please note: audiobooks always use the DozyBlue database. Unlike other media types, audiobook metadata is uploaded manually into the Media Library (see Audiobooks), so an external database search is not required.
Required Field Clarifications
There are multiple required fields across all media types. Most of these are self-explanatory and do not require additional explanation; however, the fields below affect how DozyBlue behaves and makes resume suggestions, so they require a little extra explanation.
-
Time Format
-
Wherever time durations are entered in DozyBlue, they must be
provided in the format
HH.MM.SS (hours.minutes.seconds). For example,
01.10.30represents 1 hour, 10 minutes, and 30 seconds.
-
Wherever time durations are entered in DozyBlue, they must be
provided in the format
HH.MM.SS (hours.minutes.seconds). For example,
-
Advert Duration (all media types)
- When creating a sleep session, choose whether adverts are expected in the media (Yes/Adverts Expected, No/No Adverts, or Unknown/Unknown Adverts).
- If you select Yes or Unknown, once you end the sleep session you’ll be asked to enter an estimate of the total duration of adverts you saw while you were awake during your sleep session.
- If adverts are not expected, choose No — no advert adjustments will be applied to your resume suggestions.
-
Autoplay Enabled (Series & Podcasts)
- If enabled, the next episode (by season and episode number or date) will automatically play after the current one finishes.
- For podcasts, ensure your “play next” order is set manually in date order. This is how DozyBlue calculates media resume suggestions. If not done, podcasts can play randomly and resume suggestions may be inaccurate.
- If disabled, it will be assumed that no new episodes begin after the current one ends.
Active Sleep Session
During an Active Sleep Session
Once your sleep session has started, do not rewind, fast-forward or skip any part of the media content — this includes features like Skip Intro. Any interaction with the media itself can reduce the accuracy of your resume suggestions. Skipping adverts, however, is fine — you remain fully in control of the total advert duration you enter at the end of the sleep session (see After Ending a Sleep Session (Adverts)).
Active Sleep Session Pausing
If you need to pause during an active sleep session, you can do so. DozyBlue allows up to 5 minutes of total paused time during a single sleep session. When you pause your DozyBlue sleep session, make sure you also pause the media you are watching or listening to at the same time. When you resume your DozyBlue session, resume the media at the same point too. Keeping the app pause and the media pause in sync helps DozyBlue keep your resume suggestion accurate.
The pause limit is cumulative. This means it does not need to be one continuous 5-minute pause, and you do not need to use the full 5 minutes. For example, you could pause once for 1 minute, later pause again for 2 minutes, and still have 2 minutes of pause time remaining. If the total paused time reaches 5 minutes, no further pause time is available for that session and the session will be unpaused automatically.
Active Sleep Session Summary
If you want a quick overview while your session is running, tap the 'i' button on the Active Sleep Session screen to open the Session summary. This shows a simple snapshot of the current session, including the media title, media type, media start time, media duration, and whether adverts are expected. It is intended as a quick reference reminder, showing the key details of your current session.
Ending an Active Sleep Session
Leave your DozyBlue session running for the entire duration of the sleep session — do not stop the session early or close the DozyBlue app. For accurate tracking, start the sleep session and then lock your device, allowing it to run undisturbed until you wake up.
When you wake up:
- Ensure your sleep data has synced to Apple Health.
- Return to DozyBlue.
- Tap End Sleep Session.
- Confirm advert duration (if applicable).
If your sleep data has not synced, the results may be incomplete or inaccurate.
After Ending a Sleep Session (Adverts)
If you selected Yes / Adverts Expected or Unknown / Unknown Adverts for the Adverts field when creating the sleep session, you will be asked to confirm the total duration of adverts you actually saw while you were awake during the session. For more information about adverts when creating a new session, see the Advert Duration explanation in the Create a New Sleep Session section.
What to expect:
- After tapping End Sleep Session, a pop-up will appear asking for an estimate of the total duration of adverts that played while you were awake during your sleep session.
-
The more accurate your estimate, the more accurate your resume
suggestions will be. If you didn’t see any adverts, select
None or enter
00:00:00. If you are unsure, choose the closest estimate.
If you selected No/No Adverts for the Adverts field when creating the sleep session, the advert pop-up will not appear and no advert adjustments will be applied to your resume suggestions.
Report Details
When viewing a completed sleep session report, you’ll see a breakdown of your sleep data alongside the related media content you watched or listened to during your sleep session. You can open a sleep session’s full report by tapping any session card — either from the Home screen (Recent Sleep Sessions) or from the Reports screen after selecting a date (see Reports)
Overview
- Media information: title, media type, start time, duration, advert duration (if any) and estimated resume suggestions.
- Sleep information: session dates, start time, fell asleep time, end time, session duration and paused duration (if any).
- Storage information: session expires (users on the Free plan will have their sessions expire 14 days after creation; sessions created with unknown data (e.g. missing health data or resume logic) expire after 14 days for all users).
Fell Asleep
- DozyBlue analyses the sleep data from your connected device to estimate when you most likely fell asleep.
- Factors such as device accuracy, detection methods, and data quality can influence this estimate.
- The estimate may not always be exact and is therefore adjustable (see Update Fell Asleep). When adjusted, all resume suggestions will be updated automatically.
Resume Window Logic
DozyBlue estimates where you likely left off in your chosen media using your detected sleep onset and various calculations and offsets. This is shown as a resume window, giving you a short, helpful range where your last remembered moment is most likely to be.
In simple terms: if you were about 25 minutes into a 2-hour film when sleep onset was detected, DozyBlue will present a small window around that point. You can scrub within this range to quickly relocate the moment you remember. Behind the scenes, DozyBlue considers PCR (Pre-Content Rewind), paused duration, advert adjustments, media type, and other factors to improve the estimate.
Sleep onset data can be difficult to estimate with total consistency, even with high-quality sleep trackers. Devices may detect the moment you become still or relaxed before you're fully asleep, which can shift the estimate slightly. Showing one definitive time could imply a level of precision that isn’t always realistic. A window offers a more reliable, user-friendly experience, giving you room to find the moment that feels familiar without relying on an overly specific value.
The following points provide more detail about how resume windows work.
- DozyBlue estimates where you most likely left off using sleep data from your connected sleep tracking device, combined with your Sleep Configuration settings and other contextual factors.
- Sleep Configurations allow you to fine-tune how DozyBlue interprets your sleep data. These settings can be adjusted in Settings → Sleep Configurations (see Sleep Configurations).
- One example is the Pre-Content Rewind (PCR) offset, which adjusts how far playback is rewound relative to when sleep is detected. This helps ensure resume suggestions return you to a point that still feels familiar (see Pre-Content Rewind (PCR)).
- Using your detected sleep onset, Sleep Configuration settings (such as SDS and PCR), paused duration, advert adjustments, and various internal factors, DozyBlue creates a resume window — a short range around the most likely resume point.
-
If your selected media
finishes before you fall asleep and the next media is
unknown, DozyBlue represents this using an overflow format such as
END +00:20:00. A resume window is then built around this point. - Resume windows are intended as helpful guidance rather than exact predictions. You may still need to scrub slightly to find the moment that feels most familiar.
Paused Duration Logic
- When a sleep session is paused, the resume suggestions are adjusted based on the total paused duration recorded during the active session.
- This helps ensure any time spent paused is excluded from your resume window and is not treated as media progress.
- For the most accurate resume suggestions, pause your media at the same time as your DozyBlue sleep session, and resume both together. If the media keeps playing while the session is paused, your resume window may be less accurate.
- See Active Sleep Session Pausing for more information.
Advert Logic
- When adverts are included, the resume suggestions are adjusted based on the total advert duration you watched while awake during your session.
- This ensures any progress made during advert segments is excluded from your resume window.
- As you are in control of providing the advert durations, the accuracy of resume suggestions for sleep sessions where the media runs adverts relies on your estimates being as accurate as possible.
- See After Ending a Sleep Session (Adverts) for more information.
Editable Fields
Some fields in the Report Details screen can be edited after a sleep session has been saved. Editable fields allow you to correct or refine information, ensuring your reports remain accurate and reflect your actual experience. Editable fields are indicated by a pencil icon. Tapping this icon opens a dedicated dialog where you can safely make changes.
Update Title
Updating the media title for a sleep session is available only for Audio and Video media types. These media types are entered manually, allowing the title to be edited if corrections or adjustments are needed.
Other media types (such as films, series, podcasts, and audiobooks) require the media to be selected from a list of suggestions. These suggestions are sourced from external databases or the DozyBlue database to ensure accurate and consistent metadata. As a result, their titles cannot be edited.
To update a media title:
- Tap the pencil icon next to the Title field in the Report Details screen (Audio and Video sessions only) to open the Update Title dialog.
- Enter an updated title in the text field.
- Tap Update to save your changes or Cancel to discard them.
Update Fell Asleep
DozyBlue uses sleep data from your sleep tracking device to estimate when you most likely fell asleep. While this estimate is generally accurate, it may not always reflect the exact moment you actually fell asleep. For this reason, you can manually update the fell asleep time for a sleep session. Updating this value will recalculate all media resume suggestions to ensure more accurate and consistent playback resumption.
To update the fell asleep time:
- Tap the pencil icon next to the Fell Asleep field in the Report Details screen to open the Update Fell Asleep dialog.
- Tap the clock icon to open the time picker.
- Select your new fell asleep time.
- Tap Update to save your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
- To restore the original time, tap the reset icon.
- Please note: you can only adjust the time within a 1-hour window either side of the original estimate.
Continue a Recent Sleep Session
DozyBlue allows you to continue a recent sleep session instead of starting a completely new one. This is especially useful for longer, multi-episode media types such as audiobooks, podcasts, or series, as it saves you from re-entering all the fields required when starting a new session.
How to Continue a Session
- Tap Create in the bottom navigation, then select Continue Session.
- Select the session you want to continue from the dropdown list. Only your seven most recent sleep sessions are available for selection.
Continuing a Sleep Session
When you continue a sleep session, the following occurs:
- The media title and certain fields are pre-filled automatically from the recent session. Some fields are locked (uneditable) to preserve the integrity of the continued session.
- The start time is pre-filled using the centre of your recent sessions's resume window, giving you a sensible point to restart the media. This field remains editable.
- If you are continuing a session with multiple episodes (such as a Podcast or Series), you are required to re-select the media by tapping the search icon within the title field(s) and confirming your selection. You can use either the external database or the DozyBlue database when re-selecting media. The different database modes are explained in the Searching and Selecting Media section of Create a New Sleep Session.
- Apart from the points mentioned above, continuing a recent session works in the same way as Create a New Sleep Session.
Please note: for multi-episode media types (such as Podcasts or Series), the episode identified as the point where you fell asleep remains locked when continuing a session, to ensure accuracy. If a recent session ended at the end of an episode and you now want to begin the next one, you’ll need to create a New Session (Create a New Sleep Session).
Reports
All sleep sessions can be viewed in the Reports screen, accessible via the Reports button in the bottom navigation bar.
Please note: if you are a DozyBlue Free plan user, sleep sessions expire after 14 days and cannot be recovered. Sleep sessions created while on the DozyBlue Free plan will still expire after 14 days, even if you upgrade during that period. Alternatively, sleep sessions created while you are on DozyBlue Premium will be retained indefinitely, even if you later downgrade to the DozyBlue Free plan.
Viewing Sleep Sessions
When you select a date in the calendar that has one or more sleep sessions, the relevant information for each session is shown below the calendar. Sessions are displayed on the date the session started (for example, if a session starts at 12:44 AM on the 14th December, it will appear on the 14th December; if another one starts at 10:00 PM on the 14th December, it will also appear on the 14th December).
For each session, the media title is shown, with the resume window displayed underneath. On the right-hand side, the session start time and session end time are shown. If a session ends on the following day, the end time includes +1 to indicate this.
Tapping a session opens the Report Details screen, where you can view the full details for that sleep session.
Sleep Configurations
This section contains sleep configuration settings that influence how DozyBlue interprets your sleep data. These controls let you tailor how certain calculations behave so that your sleep session results and resume suggestions better reflect your personal sleep patterns.
We recommend using DozyBlue for a few sessions before adjusting these settings. This gives you time to see how your sleep device reports sleep and how resume suggestions feel in practice.
Sleep Detection Sensitivity (SDS)
The Sleep Detection Sensitivity (SDS) configuration controls how quickly DozyBlue marks you as asleep based on your sleep data. In simple terms, it defines how strict DozyBlue is when confirming sleep onset.
By default, SDS is set to 5 minutes. This means DozyBlue looks for around five minutes of continuous sleep before marking you as asleep. This works well for most users, but sleep behaviour can vary significantly from person to person.
- A lower SDS value makes DozyBlue more sensitive, allowing sleep to be detected sooner.
- A higher SDS value makes DozyBlue more conservative, requiring a longer uninterrupted sleep period before confirming that you are asleep.
How to Adjust SDS
- Open the Settings screen and go to Sleep Configurations.
- Update the Sleep Detection Sensitivity value to your preferred duration.
- You can restore the default value by using the reset icon.
Adjusting SDS can be especially helpful if your sleep device frequently records short or inconsistent sleep stages as you drift off. Some users prefer a higher SDS because they may briefly drift off while listening to a podcast or audiobook, then wake up and continue listening without being concerned about missing content. In these cases, increasing SDS helps ensure that sleep is only confirmed once you are truly asleep, rather than during short periods of drowsiness.
SDS affects when your sleep onset time is detected, which in turn influences resume suggestions and other sleep-based calculations. Any changes you make will apply to all future sleep sessions.
Pre-Content Rewind (PCR) Offset
The Pre-Content Rewind (PCR) offset adjusts your resume suggestions after sleep has been detected. It shifts playback slightly earlier than your detected sleep onset, helping you return to a moment that still feels familiar rather than where awareness fully faded.
By default, this offset is set to 5 minutes. You can customise it based on your experience.
- If you tend to fall asleep quickly after you close your eyes, a lower PCR value can be beneficial. This brings your resume suggestions closer to the point you are most likely to remember, as less rewind is needed.
- If it usually takes you longer to fall asleep after closing your eyes, a higher PCR value can be more effective. This rewinds further back in the content, increasing the likelihood that your resume window is centred around a moment that feels familiar when you return.
- For audio-based content such as podcasts or audiobooks, a lower PCR value can also be beneficial, as you can continue listening with your eyes closed. In these cases, sleep onset is often closer to the point you stop actively processing the content, so less rewind is typically needed.
- In contrast, with visual content like series and films, engagement often drops as soon as your eyes close, even if you are not fully asleep yet. Because of this, a slightly higher PCR can be more effective, helping ensure you return to a point in the content that you are more likely to recognise.
How to Adjust PCR
- Open the Settings screen and go to Sleep Configurations.
- Update the Pre-Content Rewind Offset value to your preferred duration.
- You can restore the default value by using the reset icon.
Adjusting your PCR offset changes how your resume suggestions are calculated, and the update will be used for all future sessions and their resume windows.
Media Library
The Media Library is where you can manage your manually uploaded media content that can be reused across your sleep sessions. It allows you to store structured, reusable information for media types that DozyBlue cannot fetch from external databases. Items saved here become selectable when creating or continuing sleep sessions, ensuring consistent metadata.
Audiobooks
To access your uploaded Audiobooks, open Library from the bottom navigation and select Audiobooks. Audiobooks allows you to build a personal audiobook library that can be reused across multiple sleep sessions. Each audiobook includes a title, author, and a chapter-by-chapter breakdown with durations, which DozyBlue uses to generate resume suggestions.
Viewing Audiobooks
You can control how audiobooks are ordered using the sorting options shown at the top of the list.
- Date added (default) shows the most recently added audiobooks first.
- A–Z sorts audiobooks alphabetically by title in ascending order.
- Z–A sorts audiobooks alphabetically by title in descending order.
Upload an Audiobook
- Open Library from the bottom navigation and select Audiobooks. Tap the + icon to create a new audiobook, this will take you to the Upload Audiobook screen.
- Manually enter the Title and Author. These fields are treated as the identity of the audiobook and cannot be edited later (you can delete and recreate if needed).
-
Add chapters in the Chapters section, entering each
chapter’s duration in the format
HH.MM.SS(e.g. '01.10.30' for 1 hour, 10 minutes, and 30 seconds). - Chapter breakdowns and durations can usually be found in your audiobook app or listening platform.
- Use the plus/minus buttons to add or remove chapter rows as needed.
- You do not need to add the entire book in one go — you can start with the chapters you plan to use for upcoming sleep sessions (plus a few extras if you wish) and return later to add more.
Update an Audiobook
You can refine an existing audiobook over time by updating its chapter list — for example, adding new chapters as you progress through a book, or correcting durations. When editing, the title and author remain locked so your existing sessions stay consistent.
- Open Library from the bottom navigation and select Audiobooks.
- Locate the audiobook you want to edit and tap the edit button.
- The Title and Author fields are read-only when editing. If these are incorrect, delete the audiobook and recreate it with the correct details.
- Expand the Chapters section to view the existing chapters, then use the plus/minus buttons to add or remove chapters, and adjust any durations that need updating.
- When you save, DozyBlue replaces the previous chapter list with your updated version and recalculates the total audiobook duration.
Please note: if you edit an audiobook that has already been used in a sleep session, the existing sleep session will not be updated and will continue to reflect the original chapter list and durations used at the time of that session.
Delete an Audiobook
If you no longer need an audiobook, or you want to free up space for a new one, you can delete it from your library. Deleting an audiobook removes it from your library and also from future sleep session selection.
- Open Library from the bottom navigation and select Audiobooks.
- Locate the audiobook you want to remove and tap the delete button.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted. This will permanently remove the audiobook and all of its saved chapters from your library — once deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Please note: if you delete an audiobook that has already been used in a sleep session, the existing sleep session will still display that audiobook and its original chapter information.
